The Atlanta Falcons will be holding Youth Weekend at Russell Athletic Atlanta Falcons Training Camp July 27 and 28 at the team's headquarters in Flowery Branch. Gates open for Saturday and Sunday's practice sessions at 2:30 p.m. with practice beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Before practice gets started, kids can enjoy a variety of fun activities:
Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders Autograph Zone: Kids will have a chance to meet and get autographs from Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders.
Look Like a Pro: Bring your camera as kids will have the opportunity to try on authentic equipment used and worn by Falcons players.
On Saturday, the Falcons will hold a helmet and jersey frenzy, when kids can enter one time to win Atlanta Falcons jerseys or mini helmets autographed by Falcons players. Entries will not be accepted once practice starts, so get there early. Winners, selected randomly, will be listed at the end of practice and on www.atlantafalcons.com/community.
On Sunday, kids that wear their youth football uniform, cheerleader uniform or Atlanta Falcons colors will receive their choice of a mini-football or pom-pom. Additionally, all kids will be able to enter one time to win an autographed Atlanta Falcons football. Entries will again not be accepted once practice starts. The winners will be selected at random and will be listed at the end of practice and on www.atlantafalcons.com/community.
All activities are subject to change or cancelation. In the event of inclement weather that closes practice to the public, all youth weekend activities will be canceled.
