FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons' receiver corps is one of the best in the NFL, but there's always the possiblity that an unexpected player flashes during training camp and catches a coach's eye.
During Thursday's practice, Anthony Dable may have done just that. The French receiver made an impressive one-handed grab over his right shoulder to beat rookie cornerback Jarnor Jones.
Although he may be a new name to Falcons fans, Dable was considered one of Europe's best receivers and returners while playing in the German Football League. In two seasons with the New Yorker Lions, Dable caught 145 passes for 2,437 yards and 32 touchdowns.
