Trufant, Coleman 'Day-to-Day' for Falcons

Following a weekend off, the Falcons were given a few extra days to get healthy for their upcoming road matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The rest helped one Falcon in particular, Dwight Freeney, who missed Atlanta's Week 9 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a quad injury.

Head Coach Dan Quinn said the veteran is "looking great" and is anticipating him to be available this week.

Desmond Trufant (shoulder) and Tevin Coleman (hamstring) will be day-to-day and taken through the week before any decisions are made regarding their game status.

Jacob Tamme will "likely be out" according to Quinn after injuring his shoulder in the Falcons' win over the Packers.

"Tamme will likely be out," Quinn said on his weekly radio show on 92.9 The Game Wednesday morning. "Coleman [is] going to run today, we'll get a better feel for him. He is closer and is day-to-day; Trufant is as well. Those two are the ones that we will take all the way through the week and take it all the way up until game time before we decide. Tamme is the only one who will likely be out. We are anticipating Dwight Freeney, he's back and looks great. We were able to get a lot done with him over the weekend and on Monday. He looks good. From an injury standpoint, we are definitely improving."
