The Practice Report: Gabriel, Goodwin Sidelined

The Falcons return to the Georgia Dome this weekend, and as they begin preparations for the San Diego Chargers, the team was without three players.

Wide receiver Taylor Gabriel (concussion), cornerback C.J. Goodwin (hamstring) and DE Dwight Freeney (non-injury related) were non-participants in practice.

"Taylor Gabriel will be in concussion protocol, and C.J. Goodwin will be rehab running due to a hamstring injury," head coach Dan Quinn said during his press conference.

Fullback Patrick DiMarco (shoulder), defensive end Brooks Reed (groin) and linebacker Paul Worrilow (groin) were all limited in some fashion.

For the first time since Week 2, rookie linebacker De'Vondre Campbell was not listed on Atlanta's injury report and Coach Quinn expects his play time to "ramp up" on Sunday.
