Schillinger Placed on Injured Reserve

The Atlanta Falcons today have placed safety Shann Schillinger on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

Schillinger, 6-foot, 200 pounds, was drafted by the Falcons in the sixth round (171st overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. The rookie out of Montana appeared in all 15 games this season primarily on special teams, posting eight special teams tackles (six solo).
