## Salute to Georgia High School Football

On behalf of the Atlanta Falcons, the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, Levy Restaurants, Russell, Air Tran Airways, Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Centers, PGA Tour Superstore and the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, we'd like to thank all of the coaches that attended the third annual Salute to High School Football Luncheon Saturday, December 11, 2010.

For those of you that missed it, approximately 400 guests were on hand to enjoy the event that featured a keynote address from former Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn, the presentation of the Warrick Dunn Captain in the Community Award and remarks from Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith and President, Rich McKay. Additionally, we announced the Atlanta Falcons Divisional Coach of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Winner. They are as follows:

• 1A-Principal Alvin Henderson accepting the award on behalf of Coach Jim Dickerson // Clinch County High School

Lifetime Achievement Award Winner

Warrick Dunn Captain in the Community of the Year Winner

Each Coach of the Year and Lifetime Achievement winner received a crystal trophy along with 2 round-trip tickets, courtesy of Air Tran Airways.

The Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation gave away (5) $500 equipment grants and (1) $1000 grant to:

• 1A- Hunter Chadwick // Fellowship Christian School

• 2A- Mike Woodard // Pierce County High School

• 3A- Paul Friel // Johnson High School

• 4A- Ed Gosa // Banneker High School

• 5A- Clint Wade // East Coweta High School

$1000 grant

• 2A- Terry Tuley// North Oconee High School

USA Football gave away (5) $500 equipment grants:

• 1A- Kevin McElhaney // Gordon Lee High School

• 2A- Jeff Shifflet // Pepperell High School

• 3A- Ray Bonner // Cedar Grove High School

• 4A- Dallas Allen // Douglass High School

• 5A- Chad McGehee // Kennesaw High School

The Atlanta Falcons gave away (3) signed jerseys to:

• Bob Sphire // North Gwinnett High School — Michael Turner jersey

• DeMarco Thompson // Southwest Atlanta Christian School — Matt Ryan jersey

• Deario Grimmage // Meadowcreek High School — Tony Gonzalez jersey

The Atlanta Falcons gave (6) iPads to:

• Steve Savage // Commerce High School

• Ricky Tolleson// Bremen High School

• Rodney Walker // Mary Persons High School

• Wade Beale // Lanier County High School

• Ryan Livezey// Holy Innocents

• Jimmy Hughes// Dooley County High School

Finally, Russell gave each coach a tote bag and t-shirt and Air Tran Airways provided a discounted flight voucher.
