Saints-Falcons Kickoff Moved to 4:25

As the NFL looks to put the best matchups and the biggest games into the best TV time slots, they have announced that the Saints-Falcons on Sunday will now start at 4:25 p.m. It was originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

The game is one of a handful that have significant playoff implications this weekend. The Saints have already been eliminated, but what the Falcons do will shape the look of the NFC playoff picture.

If Atlanta wins, they will be the NFC's second seed and will have a first round bye. However, a Falcons loss means they will likely host a playoff game next weekend, and it would open the door for the Seahawks, or even the Lions, to move into the No. 2 seed and a bye.

The NFL also moved the Packers-Lions into the 8:30 Sunday Night Football time slot. That game has become a defacto NFC North Championship showdown, regardless of what the Lions do against Dallas tonight.
