Ryan, White Make Franchise History with Early TD

The Falcons take on their division rival, the New Orleans Saints, in their first regular season game on Sunday at the Georgia Dome. Check out these pictures of the game.

The Atlanta Falcons' first score of the 2014 season will go down in history for QB Matt Ryan and WR Roddy White; following Ryan's 2-yard TD pass to White, both players continued adding to their already-extensive career stats.

With the TD pass, Ryan tied former Falcons QB Steve Bartkowski for the franchise record for most-career passing TDs (154), but after a quick halftime break, he went ahead and set the franchise record, finding Falcons TE Levine Toilolo for a 1-yard TD score in the third quarter, good for his 155th-career TD pass. The score capped a 12-play drive that covered 80 yards in 5:38, narrowing the Saints' lead to 20-17.

As for White, his TD grab moved him into a second-place tie, behind former Falcons WR Andre Rison, for the most-career TD receptions in franchise history (56), one behind former Falcons WR Terance Mathis (57).
