Matt Ryan and Julio Jones generated plenty of fantasy buzz heading into the regular season and in Week 1 they delivered.

In fact, Ryan and Jones didn't just deliver; they almost single-handedly carried their owners to wins on Sunday in fantasy football matchups.

Ryan's 299 yard, three touchdown day (he added one TD rushing) allowed him to be the top scorer in fantasy football on NFL.com. Ryan's day gave him just over 32 points, the top scorer in fantasy through Sunday evening. Washington's Robert Griffin III was second with 25 points.

Jones was the primary benefactor of Ryan's great day, catching six passes for 108 yards and two TDs. Jones finished sixth among all players with 22.80 points.

Tony Gonzalez finished third among tight ends with his 11.30 points from five catches for 53 yards and a touchdown. Roddy White finished 15th among wide receivers with 8.70 points on six catches for 87 yards.

Though White didn't have a headlining day, he was solid and showed he will still be able to put up numbers in Atlanta's offense alongside Jones. Defensive attention may begin to shift to Jones as the primary option on Atlanta's offense, something that could mean even more big numbers for White and Gonzalez in the coming weeks.

Following the game, White tweeted "Fantasy owners got to get y'all some more points."

Ryan, Jones, White and company will face the Denver Broncos on Monday night in Week 2. Last season Denver's pass defense ranked 18th in the league, allowing 231.5 yards passing per game.
