RB Coleman in Concussion Protocol

Dan Quinn announced on Thursday rookie RB Tevin Coleman slipped in the shower on Wednesday at the team facility and hit his head. Coleman is now in the NFL's concussion protocol.

Coleman's status for Sunday's game against the Panthers is uncertain, as his ability to pass all steps of the League's protocol will be the deciding factor.

With the announcement of Coleman's concussion, now two of the Falcons' three running backs have suffered a concussion this season.

Some positive news came on the injury front, as G Chris Chester (shoulder) was able to practice in a limited capacity and T Jake Matthews (back) fully participated.

WR Devin Hester (toe), Grady Jarrett (shoulder), NT Paul Soliai (calf) and LB Paul Worrilow (knee) were among the limited participants.
