Quinn Provides Injury Updates on Trufant, Coleman

Following Atlanta's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, head coach Dan Quinn updated the media on the status of Pro Bowl CB Desmond Trufant and RB Tevin Coleman.

Trufant left Thursday's contest in the first half with a shoulder injury and did not return.

"We'll be able to update you more on Wednesday. No new news until we visit with doctors this afternoon," Quinn said regarding Trufant.

As for Coleman, Quinn is hopeful that the running back will be available next week after missing the previous two games.

"I'm hopeful for that," Quinn said of Coleman's return next week. "He ran hard today. But we aren't going to put him out until he's ready. He's got that kind of explosiveness. We're hopeful for this week, we'll take it through Monday, we'll be back on the practice field and we'll see where he looks from there to determine his availability. If he's able to be back Wednesday and Thursday, I think it will look good. I want to wait and see how that progress takes place over the next few days."
