Atlanta Falcons tight end Justin Peellehas been named the Atlanta Falcons Community All-Star presented by Allstate Insurance Company for the month of September.

During the four months of the season, the Falcons will select a player each month that has participated in community activities throughout the month, has shown a commitment to giving back to the community and/or went above and beyond in a particular visit in the community. These selections can be awarded to any player on the Falcons roster.

On Dec. 13, each of the winners will be recognized at a dinner for their commitment to giving back to the community. This dinner will be attended by Allstate agents who have shown similar traits, Falcons executives and other selected invited guests.

As part of the Extra Yard Partnership program, Peelle has selected a few area schools to receive (40) tickets to an upcoming Falcons game. Instead of just giving each school his tickets, Peelle visits each school prior to each home game and surprises the children selected with the tickets.

In addition to giving tickets to each of the students, he also provides T-shirts to each of the children and parents. He allows the school to select the students and at his visit to the school he will address their achievements with the students. He also stays and signs autographs for the students and parents that are in attendance. He has participated in two visits during the month of September at North Hall and South Hall Middle Schools in Hall County.
