Welcome to AtlantaFalcons.com managing editor Jay Adams' blog-style posts where Jay jaws about the Falcons. JAWS, of course, stands for Jay Adams Writes Stuff, which means all the Falcons news and information that slips through the cracks — and some that doesn't — can be found right here in these posts

Former Falcons running back and current limited partner Warrick Dunn has always been a bit of a speedster.

During the weekend, however, he was just a tad bit faster.

Dunn helped kick off the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series season in the Honda-IZOD "Fastest Seat in Sports" driven by none other than IndyCar legend Mario Andretti (photo above). Dunn and Andretti led the field Sunday to start the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

"Riding in an IndyCar with a living legend was an experience of a lifetime," Dunn said. "If you feel the need for the speed, this sport is it."

Here's another photo of Dunn and Andretti looking particularly awesome living the dream many of us hold to reach the threshold of breaking the sound barrier. Poll below.
