Moore Out For Third Straight Game

For the third game in a row, Falcons safety William Moore is inactive. An injury suffered in Week 13 has kept Moore out of practice ever since. Chris Hope will start his third straight game in place of the injured Moore. Last week backup cornerback Dominique Franks spelled Hope at safety while he missed some time with an injury of his own.

The only other questionable player from this week's injury report that will be inactive against the Lions on Saturday night is Cliff Matthews.

Wide receiver Roddy White was a limited participant in practice on Friday, but has been cleared to play. White's streak of consecutive games played, second on the franchise's current active list, is up to 73 games.

Other inactives for the Falcons include QB , OL Phillipkeith Manley, WR Tim Toone, OL Harland Gunn and TE Chase Coffman.

The Lions are missing one notable starter against the Falcons. Tight end Brandon Pettigrew will not play on Saturday. Joining him on the inactive list for Detroit is Ron Bartell, Ogemdi Nwagbuo, Jason Fox, Corey Hilliard, Ronnell Lewis and Kellen Moore.
