Mock Draft Monitor 7.0

With the NFL Draft a month away, prognosticators are changing around their first round predictions less and less. Here's a look at some of the latest mock draft projections for the Falcons: !

Analysis:Another week, another majority lead for Darron Lee. The Ohio State linebacker has received full or part of the majority for five consecutive updates.

Lee, who ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the combine, appears to have the speed and athleticism Dan Quinn seeks at linebacker. The two met earlier this month and seemed to get off on the right foot.

"He was a really cool dude; serious," Lee said of Quinn, via ESPN.com’s Vaughn McClure. "He was really trying to find guys with speed, and he made that clear. He made that absolutely clear. And I was like, 'Yeah, that's me.'

"[S]peaking of Atlanta, I think it would be huge to be a part of that organization. They've got something going there. They want to win, and they want to win as soon as possible. They want to be able to compete with the Panthers, them being the NFC South champs. [The Falcons] just told me they needed some speed, some attitude and some leadership. I like them, and I'm excited about the workout. And we'll go from there."

So it appears Lee would be happy to end of in Atlanta. And, while Reggie Ragland and several other prospects remain linked to the Falcons, it's clear that Lee is the favorite to be selected at No. 17 overall.

At least for now.
