Mock Draft Monitor 11.0

NFL Draft week is finally here. For the last time in 2016, here's a look at the latest mock draft projections for the Falcons: !

Analysis:The final mock monitor of 2016 lacks any big surprises. Nine of the 10 experts have the Falcons taking a linebacker with their first round selection, and Darron Lee, who worked out for Atlanta last month, is the majority leader for the sixth consecutive week.

Although none of these 10 writers think Shaq Lawson or Myles Jack will fall to Atlanta, there are some analysts who believe one could reach No. 17 overall. Cris Collinsworth's final mock on Pro Football Focus has the Falcons taking Lawson; NFL Network's Charley Casserly predicts Thomas Dimitroff will be able to choose Jack without trading up.

Looking back over the entire board, it's clear that most people believe the Falcons should add a fast, athletic defender with its first round pick. And, like always, it's clear that one unexpected turn can render every prediction moot. It'll be interesting to reflect on all these forecasts next week after Atlanta's 2016 draft class is finalized.
