Julio Jones Undergoes Foot Surgery

Julio Jones underwent foot surgery on Monday and the team fully anticipates him being at full speed for the start of XFINITY Training Camp.

Jones missed two games in the 2016 campaign with a foot injury while still putting together one of his best professional campaigns. After injuring his foot in early December, the Falcons implemented a detailed plan on how to feature the All-Pro wide receiver during the practice week.

Jones played a big role in what Atlanta was able to do offensively last season. Not only did he produce at an elite level, catching 83 passes for 1,409 yards and six touchdowns in the regular season, his presence alone opened things up for the Falcons. Jones continued to produce throughout the year, despite the injury, totaling 334 yards and three touchdowns in the postseason.
