For the second week in a row, wide receiver Julio Jones performed well enough to be considered one of the top rookies of the week.

He's up for rookie of the week honors along with San Diego cornerback Marcus Gilchrist, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan and Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton for games played on October 2-3, the NFL announced today.

Jones caught 11 passes for 127 yards in the Falcons' 30-28 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Fans can vote for one of these five players on NFL.com/rookies through Friday at noon ET to determine the rookie of the week. The rookie of the week will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January. The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.
