Jones, Ryan Make ESPN's Top 100 List

ESPN.com released the top 100 players in the NFL in 2015 list on Tuesday and two Atlanta Falcons made the list.

More than 70 NFL analysts, reporters and statisticians were asked to rate players based on how good they are, plain and simple. Each player was rated on a scale of 1-100 with 100 being the highest rating a player could reach.

Julio Jones was ranked the No. 20 player in the NFL with a rating of 90.20 with only four other receivers ahead of him. In front of him on the list are Pro-Bowl caliber receivers: Dez Bryant, Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown and Demaryius Thomas. Jones' 88.4 receiving yards per game since 2011 ranks second in the NFL, stat courtesy of ESPN.com.

Now, moving on to the other Falcon on the list.

The quarterback position is easily the most important position on the football field and the Falcons have one of the best in the NFL. Matt Ryan comes in at the No. 69 and is the ninth best quarterback on the list.

Over the past two seasons, Ryan has completed 67 percent of his throws for 9,209 yards, according to ESPN.com. Voters also acknowledged that with offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan calling the shots, Ryan's already impressive numbers could reach a new level and the quarterback is set to have a monster year.  By the way, if you want to know where the name "Matty Ice" comes from, take a look at this stat provided by ESPN.com:

"Ryan leads the NFL with 26 game-winning drives in the fourth quarter/OT since entering the NFL in 2008."
