AtlantaFalcons.com managing editor Jay Adams gives his three takeaways each day of camp:

## Filling in nicely

Michael Jenkins' absence due to an injury causes a lot of issues for the coaching staff to address, namely shifting other receivers around to make sure the No. 2 spot is well covered while Jenkins recovers. Brian Finneran and Eric Weems mainly worked into the position Tuesday at camp and the two looked mostly smooth in making the transition.

## Spoon at it again

Rookie linebacker Sean Weatherspoon against missed the memo that practice does not include live hitting. During one point in the morning practice, Weatherspoon made a hit so hard that a Jaguars helmet went flying through the air. It's great to see such intensity from the rookie. You can tell he's ready for some game action.

## Getting into game mode

The Jaguars loaded up the bus for the final time at the Falcons training facility this afternoon, which marked the end of the combined practices. All practices between now and Friday night are closed to the public, which means the Falcons are in game mode. There will be a lot of fine tuning during the next few days as the Falcons finish off preparations to face the Chiefs on Friday night.
