FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – One game remains for the Falcons in the 2017 regular season, and it will decide their playoff fate.

A win in their rematch against the Panthers would give the Falcons a spot in the postseason for the second consecutive year, while a loss would leave them at the mercy of the Seahawks, who could steal the No. 6 seed with a win against the Cardinals. Carolina is currently fighting for better seeding in the playoffs, with the possibility of rising as high as the No. 2 seed, so the Panthers are expected to hold nothing back.

Injury updates

Aside from missing one or two players each week, the Falcons have been among the healthier teams in the NFL this season. That appears to be the case once again heading into the final game against the Panthers. There are a few injuries to track as the week progresses but none that seem overly concerning. • WR Julio Jones (ankle/thumb) – did not participate
  • OL Andy Levitre (triceps) – limited
  • OL Alex Mack (calf) – limited
  • OL Wes Schweitzer (groin) – limited
  • TE Levine Toilolo (knee) – did not participate
