Gracing The Cover?

Welcome to managing editor Jay Adams' blog-style posts where Jay JAWS about the Falcons. JAWS, of course, stands for Jay Adams Writes Stuff, which means all the Falcons news and information that slips through the cracks — and some that doesn't — can be found right here in these posts

It's no secret by now that the EA Sports' Madden 2012 video game will feature a cover model voted on by fans. It's also no secret that Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is running roughshod through the bracket.

The final votes in the Sweet Sixteen of the tournament will be tallied today and those moving on will be announced at 4 p.m. Monday on ESPN's "SportsNation." Ryan — a No. 2 seed — is currently up against Cleveland running back Peyton Hillis.

In the first round, Ryan easily moved past Carolina's Jordan Gross with the biggest margin of victory in the first round — 89 percent for the Ice Man; 11 percent for Gross.
