Freeman Up for NFL Fantasy Player of the Year

In addition to being named to the Pro Bowl and second-team AP All-Pro, RB Devonta Freeman has earned another postseason nomination.

Freeman's 10 touchdowns from Week 2 to Week 6 made him an early surprise fantasy football gem, that eventually lead him to be in the running for the NFL's Fantasy Football Player of the Year.

The Florida State product finished the season with 1,056 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns, 578 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

In addition to Freeman, the candidates for Fantasy Player of the Year are the following: QB Cam Newton, RB Adrian Peterson, WR Odell Beckham, WR Antonio Brown, TE Rob Gronkowski, K Stephen Gostkowski and the Denver Broncos defense.
