Freeman, Jones Earn Pro Bowl Nods

The NFL today announced that RB Devonta Freeman and WR Julio Jones have been named to the 2016 Pro Bowl roster.

Freeman's first Pro Bowl selection comes in his second year in the League. The running back has flourished in the Falcons' offense this season with 907 rushing yards in addition to a League-leading 10 rushing touchdowns. The Florida State product is the first Falcons running back since Michael Turner in 2010 to be named to the Pro Bowl.

Not only does Atlanta have one of the best running backs in the NFL, their offense also boasts the best receiver in the game in Julio Jones.

In his fifth season with the Falcons, Jones is having his best year to date. Through 14 games, Jones has tallied 118 receptions that rank first in the NFL and second in receiving yards with 1,544. Jones also ranks first in targets and first down receptions.

On Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jones broke WR Roddy White's record to become the franchise leader of receptions in a single-season. Click here to view the full 2016 Pro Bowl roster.
