Falcons Waive WR Kerry Meier

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have waived wide receiver Kerry Meier.

Meier, 6-3, 222 pounds, was selected by the Falcons as a fifth round (165th overall) draft choice in the 2010 NFL Draft. He missed the entire 2010 and 2012 seasons because of injury. Meier appeared in 12 games in 2011, seeing time at wide receiver and on special teams.
