Falcons Waive Miller, Add Cloherty

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed TE Colin Cloherty and waived TE Anthony Miller.

Cloherty, 6-2, 252 pounds, was originally signed as a college free agent by the Indianapolis Colts out of Brown University following the 2009 NFL Draft. He has played in eight games with one start during stints with Indianapolis, San Francisco and Jacksonville. Cloherty's most extensive action came in 2011 as a member of the Jaguars. He played in four games, including one start catching four passes for 57 yards and recording his first career touchdown on a fumble recovery.

Miller, 6-4, 260 pounds, was originally signed by the Denver Broncos as a college free agent out of California following the 2012 NFL Draft. He was signed by the San Diego Chargers on December 26, 2012.
