Falcons sign three to practice squad, including a quarterback and RB Brian Hill

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons signed three players to the practice squad on Tuesday: Running back Brian Hill, quarterback Garrett Grayson and defensive lineman Joey Ivie.

In four seasons at Colorado State University, Grayson threw for 9,190 yards and 64 touchdowns. The New Orleans Saints drafted Grayson in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Grayson spent time on the Saints' practice squad before being waived in September.

Ivie, a former Florida Gator, was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In Ivie's final season at Florida, he started 10 of 11 games and recorded 26 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

Atlanta released kicker Mike Meyer from the practice squad and quarterback Trevor Knight has been placed on the practice squad/injured list.
