Falcons Sign OL Burton, Release G Gunn

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed offensive lineman Pierce Burton, and released guard Harland Gunn.

Burton, 6-6, 305 pounds, was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as a rookie free agent in 2014 out of Mississippi. He is a native of Sacramento, CA.

Gunn, 6-2, 310 pounds, was originally signed by the Cowboys as a college free agent following the 2012 NFL Draft. He was signed by the Falcons in 2012 and played in 12 games.
