Falcons Sign Guard Gunn

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed guard Harland Gunn.

Gunn, 6-2, 310 pounds, was originally signed by the Dallas Cowboys as a college free agent out of Miami (Fla.) following the 2012 NFL Draft. He was waived by the Cowboys and signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad on September 2.

Gunn played four seasons at Miami and was a starter on the Hurricanes offensive line during his junior and senior seasons. As a senior in 2011, he did not allow a sack in pass protection and helped pave the way for RB Lamar Miller to rush for 1,272 yards.
