Falcons Rule Out Five Players Ahead of JAXvsATL

Following Tuesday's practice at Flowery Branch, head coach Dan Quinn ruled out WR Julio Jones (ankle), WR Devin Fuller (shoulder), SS Kemal Ishmael (shoulder), DE Adrian Clayborn (shoulder), and RB Brandon Wilds (ankle) for the preseason finale against Jacksonville.

Fuller, who got hurt last week in Orlando, will be placed on injured reserve, per Quinn.

Although Ishmael will be sidelined for the third consecutive game, Quinn anticipates the hard-hitting safety to be a full participant next week as the Falcons gear up for their regular season opener on Sept. 11. Jones is expected to return to practice on Monday at the latest.

RB Terron Ward (ankle) is slated to make his preseason debut versus the Jaguars. With Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman likely to rest for most of the exhibition contest, Atlanta is discussing the possibility of bringing in another running back.
