Falcons Reportedly Show Interest in CB Boykin

The Brandon Boykin NFL tour continues, as the AJC's D. Orlando Ledbetter reported that the former Panthers cornerback is set to visit with the Falcons on Monday.

Boykin, a University of Georgia standout, was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012 in the fourth round and was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in August of 2015.

In March, the Carolina Panthers signed Boykin to a one-year contract and released him shortly after.

Atlanta will be without cornerback Jalen Collins for the first four games of the season and head coach Dan Quinn has been open in stating the team is always looking for depth at this position.
