ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Falcons and the NFL's Youth Football Fund recently awarded equipment grants to nine local youth football organizations that were devastated by flooding in the metro Atlanta area. As a leader in the community and a strong supporter of youth football initiatives, the Atlanta Falcons, through the NFL's Youth Football Fund Matching Grant program, were able to provide approximately $16,800 to support these organizations.

"We are saddened by the loss and destruction the recent floods caused our local community," Falcons President Rich McKay said. "However, we are very excited we could be a part of rebuilding these local youth football organizations. These organizations help teach, build and encourage the positive development of the young athletes through the sport of football."

All of the replacement items were provided by Ridell.
