FLOWERY BRANCH, GA --The Atlanta Falcons today placed safety Antoine Harris on injured reserve, elevated safety Eric Brock from the practice squad to the 53-man roster and signed wide receiver Andy Strickland to the practice squad.

Harris, a special teams standout, injured his knee in a Week 15 meeting at the New York Jets. This season, he competed in 10 contests and recorded three special teams tackles.

Brock, 6-0, 204 pounds, is currently in his second season with the Falcons after spending the majority of the 2008 campaign on the team's practice squad. Following training camp this year he was released by Atlanta, but was re-signed to the practice squad on October 27. A graduate of Auburn University, Brock finished fifth on the defense with 59 tackles in 2007.

Strickland, 6-0, 197 pounds, is a graduate of Wofford College where he finished his collegiate career with 83 receptions for 1,540 yards and 15 touchdowns. As a senior last season, he posted career-highs with 34 catches for 656 yards and seven touchdowns. Strickland was signed as a rookie free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but was released by the team during training camp.
