Falcons place Fudge on IR, sign safety Peprah

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. --The Atlanta Falcons today placed safety Jamaal Fudge on injured reserve and signed free agent safety Charlie Peprah.

Peprah, 5-11, 203 pounds, enters his fourth NFL season after spending the past three campaigns with the Green Bay Packers (2006-08). He was released by the Packers following training camp this season. In 37 career games (one start), the Alabama graduate has totaled 21 tackles (10 solo) and forced two fumbles on special teams in 2007.

Fudge was re-signed by the Falcons on October 20 after being released by the team following training camp. He saw action in two games on special teams and totaled one tackle at New Orleans in Week 8.
