Falcons Make Moves, Place Johnson on IR

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed tackle Jeff Nady, placed tackle Mike Johnson on injured reserve and waived punter Sean Sellwood. 

Nady, 6-7, 305 pounds, was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a college free agent out of Nevada following the 2013 NFL Draft. He started 36 games for the Wolfpack and was a two-time all-conference selection. 

Johnson, 6-6, 304 pounds, was selected as a third round (98th overall) draft choice by Atlanta in the 2010 NFL Draft. He has played in 18 games with one start in three seasons with the Falcons, including all 16 games in 2012.

Sellwood, 6-3, 203 pounds, was signed by the Falcons as a college free agent out of Utah on April 29, 2013.
