ATLANTA – Deion Jones was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his dominating performance against in Atlanta's 20-17 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Jones secured the Falcons' win when he picked off Saints' quarterback Drew Brees in the end zone with 1:27 left in the game. This marked the second time Jones recorded an interception against the Saints in his three times facing them so far in his career.

Along with the interception, Jones tallied 13 tackles in the win, helping the Falcons (8-5) keep New Orleans (9-4) to a season low in total yards.

Since Jones arrived in Atlanta after being selected as the Falcons' second-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, he's made an impact.
