Falcons Hosting NFL Players for Career and Franchise Expo

The Atlanta Falcons are joining Ascending Athletes to host the inaugural Career Development and Franchise Expo for current and former NFL players with the goal of connecting them with national companies and franchising opportunities.

The event, which will take place over three days next week, is aimed at providing NFL players with training to optimize career-seeking skills along with the chance to network with employers and other job-seeking athletes. At the end of the expo, the attending players will have a chance interview with the companies on-hand for jobs.

Players will have a chance to hear from industry leaders, including Ascending Athletes president Andy Schroeder, Adidas director of talent America Steve Bonomo and vice president of franchising for Express Employment Professionals David Lewis.

Players will also go through mock interviews to help them prepare for the real job interviews they'll have the following day, learning important tips about that process and how to network.

AtlantaFalcons.com will have complete coverage of the 2013 Career Development and Franchising Expo next week.
