Falcons-Dolphins Game Information

The Falcons kick off the 2009 regular season at the Georgia Dome Sunday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. when the Miami Dolphins come to town. Last season the Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith edged Dolphins coach Tony Sparano in Coach of the Year voting as both teams made the playoffs with 11-5 records.

The Falcons will wear red jerseys for the game.

National Anthem
Reuben BakerReuben Baker is "Giving God all the Praises!" Because of his love for song, he is interested in music and the way in which music can be used as a tool to glorify God's name. Reuben, a native of Mobile, Ala., is a member of First Iconium Baptist Church in Atlanta. He is currently working on a gospel music project which will be released November 2009. Reuben gave a premiere performance as an actor and singer in the stage play "My Body Sez One Thang, But God Says Another," at the 14th Street Playhouse on Aug. 29, 2009. He will be featured in the November 2009 issue of Elect Lady Magazine as a new Gospel artist. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Color Guard
The 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart & Division Color GuardThe 3rd Infantry Division has one of the most successful combat records of any U.S. Army division. It has paid a high price for this distinction, suffering nearly 35,000 wartime casualties. Fifty-one members of the 3rd Infantry Division have been awarded the Medal of Honor while serving our nation. The 3RD Infantry Division has participated in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Cold War, the Persian Gulf War, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Division Color Guard team is handpicked by the Division Command Sergeant Major. Members of the Division Color Guard are comprised of soldiers from the various units of 3RD ID, Fort Stewart and are among the best of the Division. They have proudly conducted over 56 events and ceremonies so far this year alone.
