Falcons are King's Super Bowl Pick

Last September, Sports Illustrated's senior NFL writer Peter King correctly picked that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers would play in the Super Bowl.

This year, it's the Falcons' turn.

The Falcons are King's pick to head to Super Bowl XLVI and win it all, 24-20 over the San Diego Chargers.

The Sports Illustrated NFL Preview edition hits newsstands Wednesday and will feature Falcons linebacker Curtis Lofton on one of six regional covers (see below). Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo, Jets linebacker Calvin Pace, Steelers linebacker Lamarr Woodley, Packers linebacker Clay Matthews and Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware will be featured on the other regional covers.

The last time the Falcons were featured on the cover of SI was Sept. 6, 2010 for the NFL Preview edition.
