Falcons' All-Pro receiver Julio Jones cracks the top 10 in national NFL jersey sales

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- This season, No. 11 might be the most visible at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

According to Dick’s Sporting Goods’ official jersey ranking, Julio Jones is currently the 10th-most purchased jersey at the retailer among NFL players over the last 30 days. The four-time Pro Bowl receiver has established himself as one of the league's best, and his popularity has spread far beyond Atlanta.

Although he has yet to play in a preseason game, Jones has climbed up the Dick's Sporting Goods' rankings this offseason. His jersey was the 17th-most purchased in the league for the 2016 season. The Falcons' receiver is the highest-ranked player from the NFC South on the list, two spots ahead of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

Also earning a spot on Dick's official jersey ranking for rookies is Falcons first-round pick Takkarist McKinley. The pass-rusher made his debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, and he's currently ninth among rookies in jersey sales.

As a team, the Falcons have sold the 12th-most jerseys over the last 30 days.

The numbers are a bit different on NFLshop.com. Per that site’s rankings, Jones has the 13th-most purchased jersey in the league and the third among wide receivers behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Antonio Brown.

Reigning NFL MVP Matt Ryan also appears on NFLshop.com's Top 25 jersey sales ranking, earning the 22nd spot for the offseason.
