Falcons Add DT Vellano to Practice Squad

The Falcons signed defensive tackle Joe Vellano to the practice squad.

Vellano was originally signed by the Patriots as a college free agent following the 2013 NFL Draft out of Maryland. He spent two years with New England, playing in 21 games with nine starts and recording 26 total tackles.

Mbu was originally signed by the Falcons as a college free agent following the 2015 NFL Draft. Mbu played in two games and recorded four tackles (one solo) with one tackle for loss last season.
