Falcons 2017 training camp schedule: Two more practices are open to the public

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – After Friday night's practice, there's only one more Falcons training camp session open to the public – and that's Sunday, which also happens to be Military Day.

Traffic is expected to be heavier on Sunday and fans should plan accordingly. Here's the remaining 2017 AT&T Atlanta Falcons Training Camp schedule:

Friday

  • 4:05 p.m.: Gates open to public 
  • 5:05 p.m.: Practice begins 

Saturday

  • Players are off Sunday, Military Day
  • 8:15 a.m.: Gates open to public 
  • 9:45 a.m.: Practice begins 

Monday

  • 9:30 a.m.: Practice begins (closed to public)

Tuesday

  • 9:30 a.m.: Practice begins (closed to public)

Wednesday

  • Team walkthrough (closed to public)

Thursday

  • Falcons at Dolphins, 7 p.m. ET

Aug. 11

  • Team walkthrough (closed to public)

Aug. 12

  • Players are off

Fan information

Gates at Flowery Branch open one hour before practice is scheduled to begin, unless otherwise noted. For additional information regarding changes in practice times or weather delays, please call (770) 965-2752 or check the team website, www.atlantafalcons.com.


Parking

Free parking is available at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex and CW Davis Middle School across the street from the Falcons Training Complex located at 4400 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. After Hall County Schools begin, please be mindful of bus/parent traffic near parking areas. There is no general parking available at the Falcons training complex.

Fans with disabilities parking permits will be allowed to park inside the Falcons training complex. Disability parking permits must be properly displayed for law enforcement officials to grant entry. A designated seating area will also be provided for fans with disabilities.


Special guests and VIP check-ins

Staff/player families, special guests and VIP check-in is located in the coaches parking lot, in front of the Atlanta Falcons hospitality tent.


Fan guidelines

Please comply with all requests made by field security workers and Falcons staff.

  • Smoking is prohibited.
  • Shirts and shoes are required. Please refrain from wearing any type of distracting or inappropriate apparel.
  • Upon entry to the facility, your bag will be inspected for any prohibited items.
  • Videotaping during practice is strictly prohibited.
  • Please refrain from talking to players or coaches during practice.
  • For your own safety and the safety of the players, please stay behind the ropes at all times.

Guests not complying with the rules and directives of Falcons staff and team security will be removed from the premises immediately.


Acceptable items to bring

For your comfort, please feel free to bring the following items to training camp:

  • Hats
  • Jackets
  • Rain gear
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets
  • Umbrellas
  • Lawn chairs
  • Strollers
  • Small, personal coolers (no larger than 15 x 12 x 11 inches; 5 pounds)
  • Non-alcoholic beverages
  • Light snacks

Prohibited items

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Pets (only service animals are allowed)
  • Camcorders, professional cameras/tripods
  • Large backpacks and bags
  • Large coolers (Max size: 15 x 12 x 11 inches; 5 pounds)
  • Anything deemed inappropriate by security

Team rosters available

Rosters are available for fans at the general information tent located at the entrance to field.


Cameras and videotaping

Still cameras with lenses under 12 inches and without flash attachments are permitted for use during all training camps workouts at Flowery Branch.

  • No flash photography of any type will be permitted at any time.
  • No audio or video recording devices are allowed, including camcorders or cellular phones with video capabilities.
  • Videotaping during practice is strictly prohibited.

No smoking

For the comfort and health of all fans, the Falcons training complex is a smoke-free environment. There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the grounds or inside the buildings at Flowery Branch.


Safety first

For your safety, the Atlanta Falcons, along with the Flowery Branch Police Department and other local law enforcement officials will be present. We will also conduct bag inspections at the gate prior to entry.
