LAST UPDATE: 6:58 p.m. — AtlantaFalcons.com managing editor Jay Adams will be live blogging from the Falcons' team facilities in Flowery Branch all throughout the 2011 NFL Draft this weekend. Refresh this page often to see Jay's latest updates, including photos, analysis, news, information, featured tweets from the fans and much, much more. 6:58 p.m. — Last update of the night. Here's more information on Matthews:

internal-link-placeholder-0] Highlights

6:22 p.m. — The Falcons select South Carolina DE Cliff Matthews at No. 230 overall.

6:15 p.m. — Here's some more information on Jackson:

5:24 p.m. — The Falcons select OG Andrew Jackson from Fresno State with the No. 210 pick.

5:03 p.m. — Matt Bosher is a great pickup for the Falcons. With 2010 being the final year of Michael Koenen's contract, punter was a need coming into the draft. It's not often a punter gets taken in the draft, but when they do, teams are pretty confident about them. Bosher also can kickoff and handle field goal duties. One year at Miami, Bosher led the special teams in tackles. He's a pretty tough kid. The coaching staff there told him he had to settle down a bit because they wanted to stay healthy.

4:35 p.m. — Well, I was right. Punter, it is. Matt Bosher from Miami is the Falcons' selection at No. 192 overall.

4:26 p.m. — Not going to make me popular, but I'm just gonna say a punter might be a wildcard pick in this round.

4:11 p.m. — Thinking the Falcons may go tight end at No. 192. Couple of good ones still on the board.

3:48 p.m. — Phew, just finished up with all the Jacquizz Rodgers content. Fantastic pick, in my opinion. He's such a change-of-pace at that position and can really create headaches for opposing defenses. He's only 5-foot-6, but he's tough to tackle and has explosive speed. He also brings a great element of pass catching out of the backfield, which is something the Falcons have tried to implement into the offense in recent years. He's going to be fun to watch here.

2:25 p.m. — The Falcons trade up to select Oregon State RB Jacquizz Rodgers at No. 145.

1:42 p.m. — There goes another guy I liked. Davon House to the Packers. Think of the headlines I could have come up with for House. To The House, House Party, House Party 2, House Party 3. OK, maybe not House Party 3.

1:22 p.m. — The Raiders have just crushed my personal hopes. I really like Eastern Washington RB Taiwan Jones, and they just took him at 125 overall. He's a great speed guy (shock for the Raiders). Really would have liked to see what he could do with Michael Turner.

1 p.m. — Back here in Flowery Branch for Day 3 of the NFL Draft. We've got a little time to wait before the Falcons select again. They traded away their fourth round pick Thursday as part of the deal to move up to select Julio Jones, but nonetheless, it will still be a very busy day for the Falcons as they hold five picks. Third-round pick Akeem Dent just joined us in the studio for a one-on-one with me, so we'll have that video up very shortly.
