Each month during the 2011 season, the Atlanta Falcons select a player who has participated in community activities, shown a commitment to giving back to the community and/or went above and beyond on a particular visit. The Atlanta Falcons Community All-Star can be any player on the Falcons roster.

For the month of October, the Atlanta Falcons Community All-Star is WR Harry Douglas. Douglas, who serves as the spokesperson for the Atlanta Falcons First Down for Fitness program, has attended three visits promoting the program and encouraging students to reach their fitness goals. Douglas continuously looks for ways to get involved and give back to the community.

"I have a real passion for giving back to kids. I love visiting schools and stressing the importance of education and staying active. Anytime that I can jump in and help out, I am all about it," Douglas said.

On Monday, December 5, each of the Atlanta Falcons Community All-Star winners will be recognized at the annual Community Honors dinner. Each monthly winner will be considered for the Atlanta Falcons Man of the Year award.
