DiMarco Welcomes Baby Boy to the World

For those who were unfamiliar with Patrick DiMarco prior to the 2015 season certainly know him now thanks to his breakout year. Over the past twelve months, the University of South Carolina product has been a busy man crossing many things off his professional football career checklist.

  • Signed a contract extension in February
  • Won the starting fullback role in August
  • Earned Atlanta's Man of the Year award and was nominated for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year
  • Caught two touchdown passes in November when the Falcons faced the Colts
  • Became Pro Football Focus' highest rated fullback for the 2015 season
  • Played in the 2016 Pro Bowl game in Hawaii

As you can see, DiMarco and his family have several accomplishments that occurred on the football field this past year to celebrate and reflect upon.

Perhaps the most important accomplishment for the DiMarco's is one that occurred off the field.

On Monday, the DiMarco family welcomed their first child, Weston Scott, to the world.

Scrubbed it up yesterday to meet our little angel! #WestonScott #BabyDiMarco
