Well, hello there, Falcons Fans! Sorry for my temporary hiatus, but I'm back now, and am here to fill you in on all things going on in the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders' world. We've been busy and there's a lot to catch you up on!

Since the last time I've posted here on AtlantaFalcons.com, the team had their first preseason home game against the Miami Dolphins. All of AFC was on the sidelines ready to go.

It's always special to see the rookies on their first time out on the field. I remember the feeling…(extreme) nerves mixed with excitement. As we veterans say, "there's only one first game as a rookie!" From what I gather, on the whole, the rookies had a great first outing! Actually, AFC as a whole had a great first outing!

I'm so unbelievably proud of the team with have this year. We can't wait to see you next week back at the Dome! Make sure to come check us out and cheer on your Atlanta Falcons to victory! We're pretty pumped about the home opener, too. Surely you are, as well.

We've also been busy with our new reality show! It's currently showing now on Comcast On Demand. You can find out more about how to watch it by reading more here. You can catch episodes of Making the Team, Making the Calendar, and each one of the girls has a video bio airing now. Make sure to stay tuned for more, as we unveil who is in the calendar! On that note, we'll be making some announcements soon about our calendar release party, so keep your eyes peeled for that as well.

We've also been all over the greater Atlanta area, participating in promotions and charity appearances. One of the best parts of being on AFC is the opportunity to be a part of the community and give back. It's truly one of the things we love most about AFC and the Falcons organization – the value placed on community service is extremely high. We're proud to wear the Atlanta Falcons' name and see all of you out and about!

Speaking of, do you have a daughter between ages 5 and 16? If so, sign her up for the Jr. Atlanta Falcons Cheerleading program! It's a special opportunity for these girls and everyone has a blast! You can find out more information on the Jr. Cheer program here.

We've been hard at work learning new choreography and working towards perfection for you on the sidelines this year. This is going to be a season for the record books, and we can't wait to spend it with you, Falcons Fans!

As always, you can follow me on Twitter @AFCSara or find me on Facebook.

Cheers,

Sara D.
