C&C: Miller Offers High Praise of DC Smith

Denver LB Miller Gives High Praises to Falcons' DC Smith After Super Bowl 50

Prior to becoming Atlanta's defensive coordinator, Richard Smith was the Denver Broncos linebacker coach from 2011-14.

Smith's time in Denver was mostly spent developing young players like Von Miller, who was recently named Super Bowl 50 MVP.

Following Sunday's game, Smith's former player made sure he took the time to show his appreciation for his former coach and his influence.

Miller told the AJC's D. Orlando Ledbetter that if it weren't for coaches like Smith, he wouldn't be where he is today.

"I can remember the first coaches that believed in me; coach (John) Fox and coach (Richard) Smith," Miller said to Ledbetter. "If it wasn't for coach Smith and coach Fox – those guys are no longer with us – but if it wasn't for those guys instilling what it means to play in the National Football League, I probably wouldn't be here today."

The Special Friendship Between White and Jones More often then not, when you see Roddy White, you see Julio Jones somewhere near by, or vice versa. Well, Jones' 27thbirthday gave White a chance to show his appreciation for his best friend.

And what better way to wish someone a happy birthday than giving him or her an extravagant birthday cake?
