By The Numbers: Bears at Falcons

0 - Total points scored by the Falcons in the 4th quarter during their current three game skid. The Falcons have been outscored 35-0 in the fourth quarter during losses to the Vikings, Giants and Bears. Thus far this season, Atlanta has been outscored a staggering 63-17 in the fourth quarter.

1 - Number of plays into the game it took Bears WR Brandon Marshall to notch his longest reception of the season. On the Bears' first play from scrimmage, QB Jay Cutler found Marshall on a crossing route for a 20-yard gain. The Falcons' defense firmed up after that play, forcing a the Bears to punt four plays later, but Marshall and the other half of Chicago's talented starting tandem, Alshon Jeffery, had huge games against the porous Falcons' defense.

2 - Bears receivers who logged season-high totals for receiving yards in the game. Alshon Jeffery had 136 yards on 5 catches, and Brandon Marshall had 113 yards on 6 grabs.

3 - Points for the Falcons in the first half against the Bears, who entered the game ranked 23rd in the NFL in points allowed per game (26.2). Atlanta's offense will help Chicago move up a few ranking spots in that category after posting only 13 points Sunday.

3 - Touchdowns scored by the Falcons' offense over the last nine quarters of play.

4 - Halves this season the Falcons' defense has surrendered 250 or more yards, which equates to 25 percent of the 12 halves of football Atlanta has played in 2014.

  • Week One: 1st half vs. NO - 260 yards
  • Week Two: 1st half at CIN - 293 yards
  • Week Four: 1st half at MIN - 351 yards
  • Week Six: 1st half vs. CHI - 275 yards 4 - Games this season the Falcons' defensee has surrendered 472 yards or more in total offense. The Bears finished with 478 yards of offense Sunday in Atlanta.

15 - Games in Matt Bryan't career in which he's kicked a field goal of 50 yards or more. Today against the Bears, Bryant connected from 52 and 54 yards, with the latter kick coming midway through the third quarter to tie the game at 13.

20 - Straight games the Falcons have turned the ball over at least once. In that span, which began in week three of the 2013 NFL season, Atlanta is 5-15 with a combined [37] turnovers.

The Falcons are back in the Georgia Dome Sunday afternoon to take on the Chicago Bears. The players and coaches will wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer.

31 -** Percent of third downs converted by the Falcons' offense Sunday against the Bears (4 of 13). After converting 55 percent of their third downs through the first four games, the Falcons have found themselves suddenly inefficient moving the chains in third down situations in the past two games. Last week against the Giants, Atlanta was just 2 of 13 (15 percent) on third down.

50 - Percent of Matt Bryant's field goals made this season that have come from 50 yards or more. Bryant is 8 of 9 on the season, with two field goals of 51 and 52 yards in the season-opening win over the Saints and field goals of 52 and 54 yards today against the Bears.

51.4 - Completion percentage for Matt Ryan Sunday against the Bears, his worst since week 13 of the 2011 season in a loss to the Texans.

73 - Number of seconds it took the Bears to respond to Matt Bryant's 54-yard game-tying field goal in the third quarter. After Atlanta knotted up the score at 13-13, the Bears started the next drive at their own 20. After an incomplete pass, Jay Cutler found Alshon Jeffery on a deep go route for a 74 yard gain to the Falcons' six-yard line. On the next play, Matt Forte plowed through a big hole in the left side of the Falcons' line for a 6-yard score. Rookie Ra'Shede Hageman muscled up the middle to block the extra point, but Chicago still led 19-13 after their 3-play, 80 yard scoring drive that took just 1:13 off the clock.

75 - Percent of Atlanta's sack total entering week six that the Falcons defense posted today against the Bears. With just four sacks through the first five games, Atlanta dropped Bears QB Jay Cutler three times on the afternoon. But with just seven sacks through six games, Atlanta remains on pace to notch just 19 sacks this year, well below the  franchise record for least amount in a 16-game season (25 in 2007).

100 - Percent of Antone Smith's 7 career touchdowns that have gone for 38 yards or more. For the fifth time this season, Smith turned a handoff or short pass into a long score as he rumbled 41 yards to paydirt.

188 - Receiving yards for Bears WR Brandon Marshall heading into today's game against the Falcons. The Pro Bowler had 100 yards at halftime and finished the game with a season-high 113 yards receiving.

275 - Yards surrendered by the Falcons' defense in the first half, most of it through the air. Bears QB Jay Cutler threw for 227 yards and a touchdown prior to intermission as the visitors took a 13-3 halftime lead.
