31 -** Percent of third downs converted by the Falcons' offense Sunday against the Bears (4 of 13). After converting 55 percent of their third downs through the first four games, the Falcons have found themselves suddenly inefficient moving the chains in third down situations in the past two games. Last week against the Giants, Atlanta was just 2 of 13 (15 percent) on third down.
50 - Percent of Matt Bryant's field goals made this season that have come from 50 yards or more. Bryant is 8 of 9 on the season, with two field goals of 51 and 52 yards in the season-opening win over the Saints and field goals of 52 and 54 yards today against the Bears.
51.4 - Completion percentage for Matt Ryan Sunday against the Bears, his worst since week 13 of the 2011 season in a loss to the Texans.
73 - Number of seconds it took the Bears to respond to Matt Bryant's 54-yard game-tying field goal in the third quarter. After Atlanta knotted up the score at 13-13, the Bears started the next drive at their own 20. After an incomplete pass, Jay Cutler found Alshon Jeffery on a deep go route for a 74 yard gain to the Falcons' six-yard line. On the next play, Matt Forte plowed through a big hole in the left side of the Falcons' line for a 6-yard score. Rookie Ra'Shede Hageman muscled up the middle to block the extra point, but Chicago still led 19-13 after their 3-play, 80 yard scoring drive that took just 1:13 off the clock.
75 - Percent of Atlanta's sack total entering week six that the Falcons defense posted today against the Bears. With just four sacks through the first five games, Atlanta dropped Bears QB Jay Cutler three times on the afternoon. But with just seven sacks through six games, Atlanta remains on pace to notch just 19 sacks this year, well below theĀ franchise record for least amount in a 16-game season (25 in 2007).
100 - Percent of Antone Smith's 7 career touchdowns that have gone for 38 yards or more. For the fifth time this season, Smith turned a handoff or short pass into a long score as he rumbled 41 yards to paydirt.
188 - Receiving yards for Bears WR Brandon Marshall heading into today's game against the Falcons. The Pro Bowler had 100 yards at halftime and finished the game with a season-high 113 yards receiving.
275 - Yards surrendered by the Falcons' defense in the first half, most of it through the air. Bears QB Jay Cutler threw for 227 yards and a touchdown prior to intermission as the visitors took a 13-3 halftime lead.
750 - All time wins for the Chicago Bears organization, the first NFL franchise to reach that mark. (Hat tip to Falcons Radio play-by-play voice, @WesDurham, for that tidbit.)
