FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons today have signed center Rob Bruggeman to the practice squad.

Bruggeman, 6-foot-4, 286 pounds, spent part of the 2009 season on the Falcons practice squad after being signed as a free agent on Sept. 7, 2009. He was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the 2009 NFL Draft.

The Falcons also terminated the practice squad contract of running back Dimitri Nance.

Bruggeman was waived earlier today to make roster room for defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux, who is back from serving a one-game suspension.
