Your Shoes, Football's Legacy

Do you have a pair of old tennis shoes you're ready to toss? Does your family have a pile of old shoes that have seen their better days? Well the Falcons' organization can help you solve your clutter conundrum and help a good cause at the same time.

The Falcons have set up collection bins at each of the remaining home games this season at the Georgia Dome. Modern artificial playing surfaces are frequently constructed using ground up bits of cryogenically frozen recycled tires and shoes as a base. All shoes collected from fans at Falcons games will be recycled into this "filler" base, then mixed with silica sand and spread on football fields and other athletic surfaces throughout Georgia and the Southeast.

Bring your old shoes: tennis shoes, running shoes, Crocs, or ANYTHING with a rubber sole, and we'll ensure your generous donation ends up a part of someone's field of dreams.

Collection bins will be located at all Georgia Dome entrance gates prior to every Falcons 2010 home game.
